So, when I was married I had my own blog, I've decided to start one up again. We'll see how well I do at keeping up with it. I was always so bad at it before. But maybe now that I'll have new exciting things to blog about it wont be so hard. Plus, I have a lot of time on my hands so that should help out some too.
Maybe blogging again will motivate me to take more pictures too. Sorry everyone, they'll mostly be of my dog.
Speaking of my dog, he's funny. I'm taking him to the vet in a couple of weeks to get neutered. Poor little guy. I'm hoping it will calm him down a little bit so he's not so crazy anymore. I'll be posting tons of pictures and videos of him. He's just the greatest little guy, and he's been so helpful to me after the divorce. He was definitely worth the money :).
My first post is going to be about Spring Break '09! My best friend in the whole wide world, Cassandra Rose Kindred, surprised me out here in Utah! My friend, Greg, asked me if I'd come with him to the airport to pick up his dad last Sunday, I totally thought it was weird but I went anyway. Why would he need company for a 10 minute trip to the airport? So we showed up, looked all over for his dad, and then I heard this girl say my name from behind me. I turned around and there was Cassie! I could NOT believe it! I did about 13 double-takes before I realized it was real. She was here ALL week and we had so much fun together! We shopped, went to a movie, ate out, laughed, snuggied, and even went to Vegas! I can't wait to post pictures from her visit! I'll wait to talk about the week more in detail when I put those up.But it seriously was exactly what I needed right now. I've been a little lonely/homesick for my family. I've made some friends, which is great, they've all been so nice and generous. I've got a job, I'm going to start school this summer, I really do have a lot of things going for me. But it was just great to have such a close friend to be around me so soon after my divorce. Perfect timing! Cassie is so great, she's seriously the best friend I've ever had. You know when you have those friends that are rare, but you click with them completely?! That's how me and her are. The fun is non stop and we always have something to talk about and we just get along so well! She's great I love her so much. Cass, if you're reading this, I obviously love you!
My mom's coming out to visit in April, I'm pretty excited for that.
I've recently purchased a $20 couch from the D.I. for guests, so if anybody needs a place to crash for a night or two, I finally have somewhere to put you. My apartment is so tiny but so cute and awesome and I love it.
I know I'm just rambling now, I'm at work so I should probably get back to it. But I know I'm really bad at calling people and keeping in touch so I think this will be a better way to do it, that way my family wont be worried about me all the time. To all my loved ones out there, all the support and love you've given me these past few months means the world to me. I'm doing well, but only because I have people like you around me to build me up. The next year or two will be tough for me probably, but I know I can always count on the people who care about me. I don't know if I'll ever be able to repay you for the things you've done to help me out, but I promise you I will try. You'll never know how much you've helped me.
